The Jets lost to Mackay 27-16 at Mackay on Saturday night in the elimination semi-final.It wasn't textbook football that won the game for the Cutters, but the players dug deep and displayed the grit and determination needed to succeed in finals football.
Man of the match Chris Gesch said his team's focus had improved after last week's disappointing loss which he said made all the difference against the Jets.
"Last week it showed that we actually do lose it in the first half, but this first half we stuck to (our game plan)," he said.
